Slim possibility of pregnancy and baby aspirin?

I know taking aspirin during pregnancy is contraindicated as it may lead to Reye’s syndrome in the baby,but I had such a bad headache and was so nauseous that I completely fogot!I want to know whether taking a BABY aspirin (around half the normal dose) in the very first weeks is still in the safe zone (there is no way I am more than 2 weeks pregnant if I am at all)…Also,can anyone tell me if you can be this early in pregnancy and still get your period?And is there any test that I can take this early for pregnancy?

    you should be fine but let the Dr. know if you end up being pregnant. BTW Tylenol is what they told me to take.

    I wouldn’t worry so much about the aspirin. Generally the reason they don’t want pregnant women to use aspirin is the fact that it also thins the blood and that can be very dangerous if you miscarry or have some kind of placental issue or go into labor. For many women they do have a period or several during pregnancy. With my son I had one period very early in the pregnancy and he was fine.
    You can generally take a urine test up to 5 days before your next period is due. depending on when you ovulated is wether or not it would be an accurate result. A blood test would be more accurate very early on but it sounds like it’s still very early for you to get one.

    Tylenol is safer for pregnant women so after you find out if you are pregnant you should take that instead. It is so early you shouldn’t worry about it. I drank a beer while I was pregnant before I knew and I freaked out too. I asked the doctor about it and he said that it was no problem as long as I didn’t keep doing it. It is probably the same in your situation as well.

    I wouldn’t worry about it, but I would advise you not to contiue to take aspirin as it is not recommended during pregnancy, try tylenol till you know for sure if you are pregnant.
    In my first pregnancy I spotted for a week for my period, which made me go to the Dr. and thats how I found out. Its doubtful that this early being only 2 weeks pregnant that they will find the hormone in your urine. Maybe in a blood test but not likely in your urine. If I were you I would give it a couple of weeks and take a pregnancy test or go to the Dr.
