    You are hopefully under a doctor’s care for your medical problems. Ask him/her, but there are medications you could probably take safely. Ask your doctor about Plavix, Aggrenox or Lovenox.

    Aspirin would a No.

    Anti-inflammatory would be better….like Tylenol

    Ibuprofen may have somewhat of adverse reaction.

    Best to ask your doctor who knows your medical history and can better tell you what to take

    That sounds like a question with serious-enough consequences that you should be asking a doctor who is familiar with you and your medical history. It doesn’t sound like a complete stranger with a snappy reply is going to do your health any good.

    If you want the guess of this particular complete stranger I would say Warfarin which is often prescribed for people who need to lessen clotting (just as Aspirin does).

    Some of us just should not take aspirin!! Doctor recommended I take the baby aspirin, but my blood is so thin that all I do is bruise for brushing up against a table or the dogs brushing against my legs. Let alone the huge black spots I get if I actually bang against the furniture or the dogs gang up on my lap!!!

    I think my brother takes Plavix along with his other drugs. But then too, he has had 3 major heart attacks. He has Gout, type 2 diabetes and long time high blood pressure.
