    Reye’s syndrome is only dangerous if you have a ccold, flu, virus or infection. If you are taking it for a headache or a sports injury, it’s okay to use aspirin.

    I’m sure you’ll be fine. Don’t worry.

    What strength aspirin did you take? At your age aspirin shouldn’t bother you, unless like the one answer said, if you have the flu or high fever from an infection and take a large mg aspirin. Don’t be scared young fellow, you only took one, you’re safe. You don’t say why you took the aspirin, but instead of aspirin, I would recommend Tylenol, especially for a fever. All pain medications have a large amount of side effects, that if taken for a long period, could harm you. Don’t take any of them unless you absolutely have to for a short period. Look them up sometimes on the internet, and you’ll see what I am talking about. A good site is Medline Plus or Web MD. Good luck to you young man, and don’t be scared.

    Ya if you overdosed then you better just tell your mom. But, if it was just one or two then it will help relieve the pain and you will be fine!
